Taking the SAT at Pine Tree Academy for the first time:
Pine Tree Academy is a Sunday Testing center only. The cost for the SAT is $68. Fee waivers for up to two SAT test days are available for students who qualify. Check whether you qualify and learn how you can prepare yourself to do your best on test day.
To take the SAT for the first time at Pine Tree Academy:
1) Register for a Saturday Test Date online. As a Sunday Test Center, Pine Tree Academy will not show up for Saturday test dates. Therefore, you will choose Freeport High or some other local testing center. If you took the PSAT/NMSQT at Pine Tree Academy you have a College Board Account. Contact SAT customer service (866-756-7346) for login help if you do not know your login information. Dorm students should use their dorm address as their home address to avoid being sent to far away test centers.
2) Upon receiving a confirmation email from College Board of your registration, follow these instructions to establish yourself as a Sunday Test Taker with College Board and change your registration (at no additional cost) to a Sunday test date at our Test Center (#20170). Follow the instructions exactly.
The college board recommends taking the SAT at least twice so you can apply for colleges with the best score possible. Scores are typically released two weeks after the test date.
To retake the SAT once you've already established yourself as a Sunday test taker with the College Board, simply login and register for the Sunday Test Date(s) of your choice.
