Pine Tree Academy faithful spiritual and financial supporters - This young man is a member of our sister school in Bangor, Maine (North Star Christian School). He is 11 years old and facing the hardest struggle he will ever face. His teacher set up this Go Fund Me page to help raise money for the family. If you have the extra funds and can support this young student and his fight, we encourage you to do so. If you do not have the funds, please keep Manny and his family in your prayers.
Nicole Rojas, sophomore, created a slideshow of her mission trip to India as part of her Computer Applications requirements. She stated that her favorite part of the trip was getting to spend time with the kids.
The theme for Art Clinic this year was “The Unlikelies” and the visual presentation class put on a play for the other classes and parents to enjoy. The play was about Rahab and how even though she was an unlikely hero she was used by God to do incredible things. During Art Clinic, students can take a bunch of different art classes that focus on different mediums. The different classes were, colored pencils, cake decorating, culinary arts, visual presentation, wood carving, painting, set design, costume design, scrapbooking, and many more. Art Clinic is an opportunity to have fun, meet new people, see old friends, and express God through creativity. Isabelle Graves Sophomore The students of 5th and 6th grade read storybooks to PreK and K students. This gave them a chance to get to know a younger student. It was something new and fun for both age groups! Older readers were astonished with younger students' knowledge and abilities. It was very enjoyable to read the younger students' favorite stories and hear their giggles. -Ensi Khansari Nejad, 6th grade student |
