Pine Tree Academy was blessed to have Pastor Robert Machado with us this week for our special Week of Prayer. His talks focused on advice about all the things he wish people would have shared with him, when he was younger, about God and life.

Pine Tree Academy's active Home and School Association, under the leadership of Nicole Goodman, provided some "goodies" for the varsity soccer teams to enjoy. Along with encouraging our own players, the Home and School Association made a special treat for the visiting teams as well. A HUGE THANK YOU to the volunteers who serve on the Home and School Committee.
This year, Pine Tree Academy is offering a number of elective courses every Friday. One such elective, taught by Mr. Krueger, is called the history of games. In a time where people's attention is diverted by technology, this class attempts to introduce students to a variety of games that they can play with friends and family for the rest of their lives. Students are expected to learn the history and the rules of each featured game. After, the students have a number of opportunities to play the game with the class. The first game presented to the students was Kubb, an ancient Viking lawn game, pictured below, which was a big hit!
Here is a short video of the events during graduation weekend in June of 2015.
Below are some photos taken at graduation. Two professional photographers, Tiffany Studio and Rocky Knoll Photography, provided their photos for the students and their families.
