Pine Tree Academy welcomed Greater Boston Academy to its campus on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Academy students were invited to play two spirited basketball games! It was a fun way to involve our sister academy in some extracurricular activities.

On February 27, 2016, the PTA Breakers Boys' Basketball Team received the Class D sportsmanship award. This award was presented in Portland, Maine. Pine Tree Academy is proud to support a team with integrity and honor. Organized sports should bring out these qualities in our young people. Coach, Trevor Schlisner, emphasizes the importance of a positive attitude on and off the court. The spiritual growth of these students is his number one concern.   Attention supporters of the PTA Breakers!!! Both teams have made it into the state championships! This is the first time in the history of Pine Tree Academy sports that both teams have been involved in the playoffs at this level. Please come to Augusta and support our teams on February 15, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. for the girl's game and 10:00 a.m. for the boy's game. The address for the Civic Center is: Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Augusta, ME 04330    Congratulations to the JV soccer team for making it to the Maine Christian School Sports League Semi-Finals.150 soccer gifts, not only for Pine Tree Academy team members, but also for the visiting teams, were distributed after the home games on October 8 & 9, 2014. Pine Tree Academy students grabbed one of the soccer gifts before going through the hand shake line after the game. They handed a soccer gift to each member of the visiting team as well as the coaches and referees.
