Even though beach day and icebreaker were combined into one this year, we still managed to escape an entire day of school by having fun outside playing games and getting wet on the slip ’n slide. Although the seniors technically were crowned the winners of the ice-breaking game, the sophomore class was definitely the true winner. The sophomores also were able to be recognized as the official winners of the egg holding relay race. Beach day/icebreaker was a fun-filled outdoor break from our masked school days. The start of this school year has been filled with uncertainty for students, parents, and faculty; HOWEVER, we are happy to report that with some necessary modifications, PTA students and staff are off and running! Because of COVID-19, the projected enrollment was looking very light at the beginning of August. Now, the elementary, in particular, is busting at the seams. Thank you to all who have prayed for Pine Tree Academy, helped to prep dividers, and aided the administration in COVID-19 preparations by putting up campmeeting tents for outdoor classes. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue through our school year. Below are some pictures of our first few weeks of classes. The Northern New England Conference (NNEC) has a strong desire to see Pine Tree Academy (PTA) succeed and thrive. At this time, after months of planning and working together, the NNEC and the Board of Directors of PTA are eminently pleased to announce a collaborative effort to reduce the school debt and strengthen the existing program. Please watch the following video, put together by Dustin Johnson, which explains the good news of this collaboration. |
